- Hearing Protection
- Safety Glasses
- Enclosed footwear
- PHOTO ID Eg: Drivers Lic, School ID card for Form 33 entry (unlicensed attendee).
- Correct Money. Change is not available.
- Member card (If a member)
- Correct Licence / Licences
- Appropriate clothing (no singlets or camouflage)
BECOMING LICENSED
*Join Townsville Pistol Club, you will require to complete membership application and hold a current QLD firearms license or statement of eligibility from QLD Police.
Bring completed forms and supporting documentation to the range office during office hours.
*Complete a “Firearms Safety Course” delivered by Professional RTO provider.
You will be required to complete a minimum of 6 months probation period and attend a minimum of 3 club events. Before applying for a Firearms Licence through Weapons Licencing.
LEARNING TO SHOOT
Qualified and experienced range officers are available to help you learn how to shoot correctly, they are friendly, helpful and are there to also keep you safe.

Unfortunately, we have very limited internet so there are no EFTPOS facilities please bring CASH in correct change if possible.
Range Fees for non-members stands at $10 payable at the office or to the RO for the shoot you are attending.
During shooting times there is a small cantine with drinks, chocolates and chips. Pricing is based on gold coins and 50c to keep it simple.
